I am Nicole Dornak. I'm a 24 year-old girl who graduated from The University of Texas. HOOK EM! I am obsessed with traveling and I try to make the most of every adventure. I love a good sunset. I can't say no to Blue Bell. And a simple cactus brings me an abnormal amount of JOY. I've been out of the country a time or two and have been exposed to the poverty, oppression, and lack of opportunity for many people in developing countries. Inspired by my travels and a deeper desire to play some sort of role in making a difference, I devote time to this little passion of mine and I call it Narrow Collective.
My goal with Narrow Collective is to raise awareness and promote the welfare of others through blogging. I want to help people who are searching for a cause to connect with by showing them many different ways to do just that. I don't want this blog to be just another fashion blog, I want you to connect with the brands on a deeper level because you see the heart behind what they are doing!
Now, don't get me wrong: I do not ONLY own clothes or home goods made by cause driven or sustainable brands. Anthropologie is up there on my list of favorites. However, I love having the opportunity to know the story of the person who created that scarf or that piece of jewelry or that throw pillow. It makes my heart smile to know that I purchased a product that directly impacted an individual somewhere on this planet.
I hope you enjoy this journey with me as we take on the challenge to think more about other people's lives than our own [Phil 2:4].
